Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton underwent surgery on his left ankle right after the season ended. This was to address a lingering issue that bothered the three-time All-Star throughout the season.
As it turns out, however, Middleton had also been dealing with a problem in his right ankle — one that also required offseason surgery.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Khris Middleton Undergoes Surgery Again

A report by Shams Charania and Eric Nehm of The Athletic confirmed that Middleton underwent surgery for a second time this past June. The report indicates that the 32-year-old “also needed a minor arthroscopic procedure to clean up a lingering issue in his right ankle.”
The good news is that Middleton has been recovering well. According to Charania and Nehm, the Bucks veteran “has already started light court work” and at this point, all signs are pointing toward Middleton being ready for the start of the new season.
A separate report by Jim Owczarski indicates that Middleton is “doing great” and is already back on the court.

Injuries have plagued Middleton over the past several seasons, and there’s no denying that these have prevented him from making the sort of impact we all know he is capable of.
Now that he’s addressed these issues in the offseason, Middleton and the Bucks are looking forward to a healthy 2024-25 campaign as both the 6-foot-7 swingman and the team hope to bounce back and challenge for the title again this year.
