Jae Crowder’s breakout season with the Milwaukee Bucks just took an ugly turn. The 33-year-old was supposed to be a key figure for the team early on in the season as the Bucks rely on his veteran experience on and off the court to help glue this team together amid their early-season hardships.
Crowder will now need to be away from the team for the foreseeable future after the 6-foot-6 wing suffered a brutal groin injury that will now require surgery. The former Marquette standout is now expected to be sidelined for at least eight weeks.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Jae Crowder Speaks Out on Injury
News broke on Crowder’s injury timetable on Monday evening, just before Milwaukee’s game against the Chicago Bulls. A few hours later, the vet took to Twitter to share his reaction to the unfortunate turn of events:

Earlier this season, Crowder said that he’s entering the new campaign more motivated than ever. This injury is obviously a major hindrance to his goals this year, but the silver lining here is that at least it’s not a season-ending knock.
As Crowder said, he intends to attack this roadblock with the same drive and tenacity we’ve seen from him through the years.
Crowder will be back soon and he will be back with a vengeance.
