After a rough debut season for the Milwaukee Bucks last term, Jae Crowder gets a fresh start under new head coach Adrian Griffin this term. This will also be the first time the veteran starts a season in Milwaukee after joining the team in the middle of last season.
At this point, there’s no denying that Crowder is playing with a chip on his shoulder.
Jae Crowder Has Nothing But Love for Milwaukee Bucks

Before joining the NBA in 2012, Crowder spent two years with Marquette. The 6-foot-6 swingman has a lot of fond memories during his early days in Wisconsin, which is why being back in Milwaukee at this point in his career means so much to him:
“I mean, it grew me up a little bit,” Crowder said of Cream City. “I have a crazy amount of respect, a crazy amount of love for the city because they embraced me back when I was an 18, 19 year-old kid. It means a lot to me, and I want to do it the right way this time.”

A Point to Prove

Crowder was then asked to describe himself with one word. Bucks fans will love how the veteran responded:
“Motivated,” he said.
“I’m motivated more than probably I was ever. Just to prove myself and to prove to fans that I’m still capable of contributing to win a winning team.”

Crowder was an afterthought for ex-head coach Mike Budenholzer last season. It was a totally forgettable campaign for the feisty veteran, who is now out to prove that he still holds a lot of value for the Bucks.
