There is now some doubt surrounding Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury status heading into Thursday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. The two-time NBA MVP is currently dealing with a right knee injury, which he has been playing through over the past several games.
With the Bucks playing their last game before the much-awaited All-Star break, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Grizzlies?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Questionable Vs. Grizzlies

We reported on Wednesday that Giannis is likely to play against the Grizzlies in Milwaukee’s final game before the mid-season break. However, there now appears to be a significant chance that Antetokounmpo is given the night off after he was downgraded to questionable on the official injury report.
It’s still his right knee that’s bothering the 29-year-old as Giannis continues to battle through patella tendinitis. It doesn’t sound too concerning, but it could be serious enough for him to sit out just his third game of the 2023-24 season.

The fact that the Grizzlies have no less than 10 players on the injury report, including All-Star big man Jaren Jackson Jr., will likely play a role in the Bucks’ final decision on Antetokounmpo’s status for Thursday night.
So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Grizzlies, the answer is that he probably won’t.
UPDATE: In a rather unexpected turn of events, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers has confirmed that Giannis (and Damian Lillard) will be available tonight:
