After Tuesday night’s embarrassing loss to the Miami Heat, you can be sure that the Milwaukee Bucks will be hungry for a win in their next game. This comes in the form of a road matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, which also happens to be Milwaukee’s last game before the All-Star break.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did all he could to carry the Bucks on Tuesday night, but it was, again, all for nothing. He’s now popped up on the injury report again for Thursday’s contest as he continues to deal with a lingering knee issue.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Probable to Play Vs. Grizzlies
Bucks supporters can remain optimistic about their superstar’s status for Thursday night, though. This is after Antetokounmpo was listed as probable to play on the official injury report with patella tendinitis in his right knee.
The reason why fans can feel confident about Giannis’ availability against Memphis is because he has been given this exact same injury designation over the past several games. He has been able to play through the injury, so the same should be the case on Thursday night.
This is the first time the Bucks and the Grizzlies face off this season. The last time these two teams went toe-to-toe last term, Memphis embarrassed Milwaukee at the Fiserv Forum, 137-114. Giannis was unavailable for that one, though, so you can be sure that he’ll want to make a statement against the Grizzlies come Thursday.
