Everybody has been talking about the ugly scenes at the Fiserv Forum after Wednesday’s action-packed contest between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo made headlines not only for scoring a career-high 64 points in a historic performance but also, for causing a ruckus by charging the Pacers’ locker room to retrieve the game ball.
Most folks believe — especially Bucks fans — that Indiana had no right to take the game ball and that Giannis had every right to go berserk in his attempt to retake it.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Star Jrue Holiday Chimes In on Brouhaha
Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday, who suited up for the Bucks for three memorable seasons before Milwaukee traded him away this summer, definitely knows what Giannis is all about. However, when asked to share his thoughts on the ugly scenes that transpired on Wednesday night, Holiday dropped a hilarious three-word response:
“I’ve got kids,” Holiday said, per Celtics reporter Jay King of The Athletic.
Apparently, Holiday is too busy attending to his children to be abreast with all that’s going on in the NBA — or at least that’s what he wants us to believe. The two-time All-Star reportedly acted like he had no idea about the incident in Milwaukee, which to be honest, is something that is hard to believe.
It seemed like Jrue was just kidding around, though, and it would probably be safe to say that he’s well aware of what went down with his former teammates.
