The Milwaukee Bucks face a tough test on Monday night when they take on the Denver Nuggets in a marquee matchup between two of the top teams in the NBA today. Both teams are coming off wins, with the Bucks, in particular, going 2-1 in their last three contests following the sudden exit of rookie head coach Adrian Griffin.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has once again popped up on the injury report ahead of Monday’s highly-anticipated contest, which is why the fans are eager to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Nuggets?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Listed on Injury Report
It’s a mixed bag for Giannis heading into Monday’s key matchup. The bad news is that he’s on the injury report again. What’s even more concerning is that he’s dealing with a new issue on top of the shoulder and back problems he’s had to play through over the past several games.
Apparently, Antetokounmpo is nursing an illness, which the Bucks haven’t provided much information on. All we know is that it’s a non-COVID illness.
The good news here is that as of writing, the former back-to-back MVP is considered probable to play. The Bucks face the defending champion Nuggets just twice this season and you just know that Giannis will do everything he can to play through yet another health issue tonight.
So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Nuggets? The answer is that it’s likely.
UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo will be in the starting lineup tonight against Denver:
Same starting lineup for the #Bucks as usual in Doc Rivers' first game: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley.
