Apart from being affiliated with the Milwaukee Bucks, Damian Lillard is also known for endorsing Adidas. Meanwhile, the popular footwear brand has showered the All-Star point guard with a tribute that shows why he’s one of the NBA’s best players.
Rightfully so, because even during his time playing for the Portland Trail Blazers, Lillard has already been a force to be reckoned with on the court. In those 11 seasons he spent with his previous team, the seven-time All-Star notched averages of 25.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
But after Portland failed to construct a roster that would help Lillard win a championship, he requested a trade during the offseason. This set in motion a chain of events that led the Milwaukee Bucks to acquire the point guard in exchange for a package headlined by Jrue Holiday.
Now, Lillard operates as one-half of a deadly duo with Giannis Antetokounmpo for the Bucks. And with the recent hiring of Doc Rivers as the new head coach, it can be said that Lillard is in a pretty good position to win it all this season.

Just recently, Adidas showered Lillard with a heartfelt tribute. As the Bucks visited Portland for a game against the Trail Blazers, the footwear company used this opportunity to invite the point guard for a special event.

As it stands, Adidas has named its headquarters in Portland after the Milwaukee Bucks star. In response, Lillard appreciates the honor bestowed on him and signs the court in front of his family and fans. A video can also be seen giving tribute to everything the point guard has done during his NBA career.
Needless to say, Adidas’ tribute to Lillard just affirms his reputation as one of the best guys in the league, on and off the court. This is surely one feather on the All-Star’s cap that will leave a lasting mark on his legacy.
