Just recently, the crowd expressed their disapproval of Damian Lillard winning the All-Star Game MVP by booing him. Turns out, Skip Bayless felt the exact same way when he made his thoughts known on the Milwaukee Bucks star winning the award.
As it stands, the Bucks’ point guard was among the weekend’s biggest winners. After he won the 3-Point Contest for the second year in a row, Lillard achieved a rare feat with Mac McClung for becoming the most recent pair of stars to go back-to-back in their respective contests.
With a second 3-Point Contest title in the bag, Lillard went and played the All-Star Game the following day. Once on the court, the Bucks star went wild by dropping 39 points, including 11 three-pointers, six assists, three rebounds, and one steal.
Lillard also made All-Star history by becoming the first player since Michael Jordan to ever win two titles on back-to-back nights. Needless to say, Lillard won big time during All-Star Weekend.

Even after winning the award, Lillard received a lot of boos from the Indiana crowd after being named the All-Star Game MVP due to the hometown fans rooting more for Tyrese Haliburton. The exact moment can be seen in the video posted on X below:

Along with the Indiana fans, Skip Bayless came out with a pair of tweets about Lillard on X:
“Some Indy fans are rightfully booing the bogus selection of Damian Lillard for MVP,” Bayless posted first.
“Now let’s see if Dame can back up his big All-Star Weekend with a bigger June,” He tweeted next.
Even with the home crowd standing against Lillard, it can’t be denied that he had the better game amongst all of his teammates in the East. In any case, Lillard will let his game do the talking to silence his critics, Bayless included, in the coming months.
