Milwaukee Bucks news: It’s no secret that Damian Lillard and Patrick Beverley never really liked each other. This all changed, however, when they ended up crossing paths in Milwaukee. They had no other choice but to put their differences aside as they both looked to do everything they could to help their team achieve success.
At this point, however, these two unrelenting competitors have suddenly found themselves thriving alongside each other — a concept that not even Lillard himself ever imagined could be possible.

Lillard took to Instagram on Sunday evening to shed some light on his new-found groove with his former nemesis. Dame shared a photo of himself celebrating with his new backcourt buddy in a scene that we all probably never envisioned:

This snap came from Sunday’s victory against the Los Angeles Clippers, wherein Dame played a key role in lifting the Bucks over LA at the Crypto.com Arena. This was Lillard celebrating his dagger trey deep in the fourth quarter that shut the door on a potential comeback from the Clippers.
It’s amazing that one of the first guys who welcomed him back to the bench was none other than Beverley.
Needless to say, these two have gone a very long way since being sworn enemies. Destiny really has a funny way of giving you something when you least expect it.
