When Damian Lillard took his talents to the Milwaukee Bucks, he had no other choice but to leave his kids behind in Portland. Based on the statements Dame has made since his blockbuster trade, this has to be one of, if not the most difficult part of his cross-conference move.
With the Portland Trail Blazers hosting Lillard and the Bucks on Wednesday, it gave Lillard an opportunity to spend some much-needed quality time with his three children.

Unsurprisingly, Lillard took his kids to see him play against his former team. He got a special surprise from them in the tunnel right before the game as they wished him good luck:

You love to see it. Moments like these just remind you about why these players do what they do. At the end of the day, it’s all about family — especially for a guy like Dame.
Right now, Lillard is in the midst of a nasty divorce with his estranged wife, Kay’la Lillard, who has filed for sole custody of their children. At the moment, the kids live with their mother in Portland.
Dame and Kayla have three children: Damian Jr. (aged 5), and twins Kalii and Kali (aged 2).
