At this point, there’s no denying that the Milwaukee Bucks have their backs against the wall. They’ve had a horrendous start to the new year, losing four out of their five games thus far. This includes a truly disappointing blowout loss at home against the Utah Jazz on Monday, 132-116.
Bucks veteran Brook Lopez is well aware of the fact that his team is facing a major roadblock at the moment. However, the 35-year-old is also adamant that his team has what it takes to pull through from this mess.
Brook Lopez’s Strong Message for Milwaukee Bucks
According to Lopez, now is the time for the Bucks to come together and show a united front. It would be very easy to lose sight of the ultimate objective at this point, but the 7-foot-1 center is now calling on his team to stand firm amidst the storm:
“Sticking with our team’s beliefs, our team system, everything like that, knowing we all buy-in, and we all have each other’s backs,” Lopez said. “… I think it’s just more a mentality thing than anything. We have to come out ready to go every single game regardless of who we’re playing, knowing that teams are always going to be up to play us. They want to come out, they want to beat us, they want to play hard against us. We have to go in ready to go from the get-go every single day.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo had pretty much the same message as he called for unity from his team. The Bucks dug themselves into a deep hole and the only way they can get themselves out of it is if they do it together.
