Bobby Portis has without a doubt established himself as a fan favorite among the Milwaukee Bucks faithful through the years. He’s no superstar, but there’s no denying that he has become one of the most important players on the roster — both on and off the court.
As it turns out, however, Portis could leave the Bucks somewhere down the road in order to pursue his dream to play alongside Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Bobby Portis Wants to Play with LeBron James
In a recent interview on Bally Sports Wisconsin, the 6-foot-10 big mas was asked about the one player he dreams of playing with. Much like every other player out there, Portis turned his glaze to the one and only LeBron James:
“Probably LeBron,” he said. “LeBron (is) my favorite all-time player since I was a kid. It’s 21 years in the league. I was seven when I first seen him play. Crazy, I’m 28 now and he’s still in the league. … Definitely a blueprint that players can follow throughout their careers to try to be successful.”

I see no lies here.
For what it’s worth, Portis is under contract with the Bucks through 2026. We’re not even sure if LeBron will still be playing by the time Portis becomes a free agent.
To be clear, though, Portis is not at all demanding a move away from Milwaukee. At this point, there’s no question as to where this man’s loyalty belongs to.
Who knows, perhaps it’s LeBron who ends up joining the Bucks?
