The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago White Sox have agreed to make a minor league deal after the MLB trade deadline. Even though the August 1 deadline has passed this deal is still possible because teams can still make trades so long as a player is currently signed to a minor league contract, has not been on a 40-man roster at any point in the season, or who had not been on a MLB injured list at any point in the season.

Tyler Naquin, Milwaukee Brewers minor league outfielder, has been traded to the Chicago White Sox.
Multiple reporters were on this story including Adam McCalvy and Curt Hogg from the Brewers side and Daryl Van Schouwen from the White Sox. They have indicated that the Brew Crew will receive cash considerations in exchange for giving up Tyler Naquin. This is a common post trade deadline type of deal as minor league players are often moved for cash considerations or international bonus pool money.
As for Tyler Naquin this season he was hitting to the tune of a .284 batting average and .765 OPS through 148 minor league at-bats. He does have a big league resume from his stints with the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds in which he displayed intermittent abilities to hit for good power as well as a decent average.
Unfortunately for Naquin he was being blocked from the Brewers big league roster due to their plethora of young outfield prospects. Coincidentally him being traded out of the organization could signal that Milwaukee wants to promote top prospect Jackson Chourio to Triple-A, but so far there has been no indication of this.
