The Milwaukee Brewers did just enough to escape with a 9-8 victory on Friday night over the Texas Rangers. Runs came in bunches in this game as the Brewers had three separate three run innings and the Rangers had a three run fourth inning, one run sixth, and then scored four runs in the ninth.
In the ninth inning Brewers manager Craig Counsell initially called upon Andrew Chafin to record the final three outs of the game. Unfortunately he faltered and Devin Williams was eventually brought into the game. Ultimately this set up a showdown between himself and Corey Seager that ended in epic fashion.
Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Sal Frelick makes an incredible game ending catch against the Texas Rangers.

This match up between Devin Williams and Corey Seager was a showdown between two of the leagues best. Williams is near the top of the league in saves, had a 1.36 ERA entering the night, and was an All-star again this year. Seager, who has missed time due to injury, has a 5.4 bWAR through 79 games with an OPS of 1.070.
To end the game Sal Frelick had to travel a long distance. Off the bat this ball had an expected batting average of .850. Milwaukee was positioned in no doubles defense, but for the rookie to catch this at full speed, absorb the contact of the wall, and hold on to the baseball to end the game makes it quite a clutch catch.
