The Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals switch hitting third baseman Jeimer Candelario have been linked together in potential trades. Now a report from Seth Cummings, a D.C. based independent baseball reporter, has indicated that the Brew Crew are one of three teams to make the ‘best’ offer.
According to a report the Milwaukee Brewers are one of three teams that have made a better offer for Washington Nationals third baseman Jeimer Candelario.
Per Seth Cummings the three teams that have put in some of the better offers for Jeimer Candelario are the Milwaukee Brewers, the New York Yankees, and the Los Angeles Angels. He also went on to say that with Candelario out of the Nationals and Brewers game tonight that a deal could be done before midnight.
There is some question as to the validity of this report for it is not being re-emphasized by other major league baseball insiders. Reports from big news sources have indicated that up to eight teams are interested in him, but so far there has been no inclination as to who had put forth the best offer.
If this report holds true it sounds like the asking price for Jeimer Canalerio is quite high and that it is not a matter of if he will get traded but rather as to where and for who.
