The Milwaukee Brewers and New York Yankees game on Sunday afternoon was a doozy. Corbin Burnes, Devin Williams, and Abner Uribe combined to throw 10.1 innings of no-hit baseball and the games first run was not scored until the 11th inning. In the end the Yankees ended up spoiling the Brewers bid at history and won by a score of 4-3.

Milwaukee Brewers – New York Yankees game recap and summary.
Brewers ace Corbin Burnes was dominant in this game. He pitched the first eight innings, threw 109 pitches, walked just two batters, and struck out seven batters. Devin Williams worked a scoreless ninth and Abner Uribe got some help in the 10th inning when outfielder Sal Frelick made an incredible catch to preserve the no-hitter.
With big Joey Wiemer bearing down on him at the wall, Sal Frelick made the play of the year to push this game — and the Brewers’ bid for a no-hitter — to the 11th inning. Sweet sassy molassy. pic.twitter.com/XXSHMFQrZs

After the 10th inning the Yankees scored runs off of relievers Joel Payamps, Andrew Chafin, and Hoby Milner. A big game tying two run home run from Giancarlo Stanton in the 12th inning and a walk-off double by Kyle Higashioka in the 13th were the two big hits that’s helped the Yankee’s in this game.
For Milwaukee this loss is a tough one to come to terms with. Had they given Corbin Burnes just one run of support the outcome of the game could have changed. Additionally there has never been an 11 inning no-hitter in MLB history and they finished just two outs away from accomplishing this.
