The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to terms regarding 2024 salaries with all of their arbitration eligible players. Reliever Devin Williams was the lone player that appeared to be heading towards a hearing to determine his salary for next season, but shockingly a contract agreement was announced with a 2024 salary of $7.25 million and a $10.5 million salary in 2025.
What are the salary’s for the Milwaukee Brewers arbitration players?
At the start of the off-season Milwaukee had 12 arbitration eligible players. Through off-season moves (designate for assignment, non-tender, trades) they approached the MLB arbitration filing deadline with eight that included two new faces to the organization in Taylor Clarke and Jake Bauers.
By the time the deadline passed Milwaukee had contracts in place for all eight arbitration players. Taylor Clarke agreed to terms back in November and the remainder of the contracts were accepted by both sides within a few days.
Here are the arbitration players who agreed to terms and what their 2024 salary will be.
- Corbin Burnes $15.6375 MM
- Willy Adames $12.25 MM
- Hoby Milner $2.05MM
- Jake Bauers $1.35 MM
- Bryse Wilson $1.00 MM
- Taylor Clarke $1.25 MM
- Joel Payamps $1.65 MM
- Devin Williams $7.25 MM
Out of this group Burnes and Adames are the lone two players entering their final years of arbitration. They have been linked in trade rumors all off-season, but the latest reports have indicated that Milwaukee will hold on to them until at least the All-Star break.
