After the weather postponed the Nashville Sounds opening game on Friday, they played a double header against the Louisville Bats on Saturday. The result was two wins for the Sounds in which both victories were courtesy of a walk-off. A Tyler Naquin two run home run was the deciding factor in the first game and Skye Bolt scoring on a wild pitch was the walk-off in game two.
The Nashville Sounds won two games on opening day, both by walk-offs.

Other important things to note from the Nashville Sounds thrilling opening day victories is that Sal Frelick had a great day. He also extended his on-base streak with the Sounds to 43 games (extending into last year).
