Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton has officially been cleared to play on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns. The question now is whether or not Giannis Antetokounmpo will be available to welcome his partner-in-crime back into the fold in a rematch of the 2021 NBA Finals. This is after the former back-to-back MVP was added to the injury report ahead of Sunday’s matinee showdown.
At this point, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing today vs. the Suns?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Injury Status Vs. Suns
It’s no longer a surprise that Antetokounmpo has been included on Milwaukee’s injury report yet again. This has been the trend for the eight-time All-Star for several weeks now, and Sunday’s contest against Phoenix is no different.
The bigger concern has been which particular injury Giannis is dealing with on a game-to-game basis. Over the past few weeks, the Bucks talisman has nursed Achilles and knee injuries. Right now, it’s a left hamstring problem that has him listed on the injury report.
As of writing, Milwaukee has their talisman listed as questionable to play, which isn’t exactly very encouraging. Antetokounmpo was able to play through this same hamstring issue on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers, but it is worth noting that he was considered probable to play heading into that game.
The questionable tag is a downgrade and could be a cause for concern.
So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing today vs. the Suns, the answer remains up in the air.
