The Milwaukee Bucks are in desperate need of a win on Thursday night when they host a Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers. This will be their first game back at home following a disappointing Western Conference road stand that saw them lose three out of their last four games, including a devastating 129-94 blowout loss against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
As usual, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been included on the injury report again for Thursday’s bout. As such, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the 76ers?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Likely to Play Vs. 76ers
Giannis has been given his usual injury designation for Thursday’s showdown. He is considered probable to play, which has been the case for the past several contests. Antetokounmpo has not missed a game since March 4, and it does not seem like this is going to change tonight.
What is worth noting, however, is that the Bucks superstar is now dealing with soreness in his left hamstring. Giannis has been on the injury report of late due to tendinitis in his right knee and a sore Achilles, so the hamstring issue seems to be a new concern.
Nevertheless, barring a significant unforeseen setback, it doesn’t seem like the former back-to-back MVP is going to sit out on Thursday night. So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the 76ers, the answer is that it’s likely.
UPDATE: Giannis has been cleared to play against the Sixers:
