There is speculation that Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers, will host a college football game in 2024. Although the Packers have not made an official announcement, an athletics director commented on his team this week, causing Wisconsin sports fans to become excited.

According to Louie Vaccher on X, Northwestern‘s athletic director, Derrick Gragg, recently informed alums that the Wildcats plan to play one of their home games at Lambeau Field this season.
FYI: AD Gragg told alumni in NYC last week that Northwestern will play a home game at Lambeau Field this year. He didn’t mention the opponent, but it would likely be Wisconsin on Oct. 19.

Northwestern and Wisconsin are supposed to face off on October 19th, but as of now, everything still needs to be confirmed or approved by the Green Bay Packers or the Wisconsin Badgers.
Not The First Time The Badgers Played At Lambeau
In 2016, the Wisconsin Badgers had a home game against the LSU Tigers, which took place at Lambeau Field. The Badgers pulled off an upset victory of 16-14 over the Tigers. Both fans and players enjoyed the experience of playing a college football game at Lambeau Field, which gave many players a taste of the NFL stage.
