The Green Bay Packers have had back-to-back off-seasons where a major trade took place. Of course, this off-season was headlined by the franchise-altering Aaron Rodgers trade. Last off-season it was the major Davante Adams trade. Both trades netted the Green Bay Packers a substantial amount of premium draft picks. As it turns out, there could be one more trade on the horizon that would net the Packers yet another great draft pick.
Multiple Trade Suitors Surface For All-Pro LT David Bakhtiari

According to Freddie Boston:
3. Green Bay Packers could trade David Bakhtiari to Patriots
How about the chance to play for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots?
The Patriots dominated the AFC East for years with Tom Brady, winning the division 17 times in 19 years. The tables have turned, and New England is now likely the worst team in a division filled with playoff contenders. One thing New England still needs is help at tackle.
“For at least two offseasons the team has required an infusion of talent at tackle. They failed either to add a top tackle in free agency or even to draft one offensive tackle,” wrote Michael DeVito of Chowder and Champions. An option for New England after June 1 would be Bakhtiari.
2. Green Bay Packers could trade David Bakhtiari to Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are Super Bowl contenders, but winning the AFC is no easy task. They upset the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium a couple of seasons ago but fell short in last year’s rematch.
According to ESPN, the Bengals ranked 30th in pass block win rate last season. They responded by signing Orlando Brown Jr. to a huge deal in free agency. The four-time Pro Bowler will significantly help Cincinnati’s offensive line.
However, there are still questions up front for the Bengals. One option they could have would be to move Brown to right tackle before trading for Bakhtiari. A tackle combination of Bakhtiari and Brown would be as good as any in the NFL and would significantly improve the Bengals’ Super Bowl hopes.
Cincinnati has arguably the best receiving corps in the NFL. Joe Burrow is a rising star and already a top-five quarterback. Protecting Burrow has to be the top priority for the Bengals. Signing Brown is the exact type of move the Bengals needed to make. But if the Packers are open to trading Bakhtiari, the Bengals should consider it.
It would be a great landing spot for Bakhtiari, too. He would join one of the best offenses in football with the opportunity to win a championship.
1. Green Bay Packers could trade David Bakhtiari to Jets
No trade destination would make more sense for David Bakhtiari than the New York Jets. He would be joining former Packers teammates Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Billy Turner in New York.
The Jets also need a tackle. Swapping first-round picks with the Packers likely cost them the chance to draft Georgia’s Broderick Jones. Jones was on the board when the Packers hit the clock at No. 13 overall, the pick that previously belonged to the Jets. By the time New York’s new pick at No. 15 came around, the Pittsburgh Steelers had traded ahead of them for Jones.
Despite making a number of moves to go all-in with Aaron Rodgers, the Jets still need help at offensive tackle.
It would require Brian Gutekunst and Joe Douglas entering trade negotiations again, and New York has less to offer, having already sent draft capital to Green Bay. However, the Jets need a tackle, and there wouldn’t be a better fit than Bakhtiari.
He knows the offense and could step in immediately and upgrade the Jets’ offensive line. For a team attempting to win a crowded AFC while they have Aaron Rodgers, adding Rodgers’ five-time All-Pro left tackle from Green Bay would make so much sense.
Many have assumed that 2023 would be Bakhtiari’s last season in Green Bay. Many even thought he could be apart of the Aaron Rodgers trade to the New York Jets. Bakhtiari proved once again in 2022 that, when healthy, he is still one of the best left tackles in the NFL. If the Green Bay Packers have confidence in LT Yosh Nijman (which they should), getting a premium draft pick instead of just releasing him next off-season, would make a lot of sense.

This a worthless article, would have been a better read if the author would have added compensation to the Packers.
