San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (85) picks up 32 yard on a reception after a missed tackle by Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens during the third quarter of their NFC divisional playoff game Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Levi’ Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The San Francisco 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers 24-21.

It has been a couple of days since the San Francisco 49ers ended the Green Bay Packers’ season with a brutal loss. But throughout that time, there have been a lot of reactions to that particular game, including those from both Green Bay and San Francisco.

In the former’s case, head coach Matt LaFleur has dropped an honest assessment of the Packers’ performance last Saturday night. There are the players themselves, like Anders Carlson’ take on why he missed a crucial kick that could have won the game for them.

Due to that loss, the Packers’ run this season has ended and the franchise has now set its sights on improving over the summer. This initiative includes getting the best talent in the upcoming draft, or signing free agents that can raise the team’s ceiling next season.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers put salt into the Packers’ wounds by trolling them and their fans.

That appearance on the Pat McAfee Show wasn’t the end, though. Kittle would also appear before reporters after the 49ers’ game against the Packers and told them they helped the Chicago Bears by beating Green Bay. The Bears are known to be the divisional rival of the Packers, leading Kittle to mention them in his post-game interview with reporters.

Similarly, Chicago Bears Safety Jaquan Brisker posted a tweet on X that trolled the Packers after their loss to San Francisco. In it, Brisker asked which vacation destination will the Packers go to after being eliminated from the playoffs.

While the loss is still fresh, the Green Bay Packers will definitely bounce back in the coming season. Keep an eye out for the team’s offseason moves that will raise its ceiling soon.
