The Green Bay Packers defense has been nursing injuries all season. Key players have missed multiple games and it has affected the overall play of the unit. Matt LaFleur says Rashan Gary had "a little mishap" with his shoulder at practice today. He says it's "not major" when it comes to long term, but the team will see how he feels Sunday.

Green Bay Packers Rashan Gary Questionable For Week 11
Gary had “a little mishap” according to LaFleur and injured his shoulder. It is a little bit of a good news bad news situation. While he is questionable for this week, LaFleur said it is “not major.” There is even a chance that he plays on Sunday but it will likely depend on how warm-ups go. If he is unable to go, it would be a massive loss for the defense. While he hasn’t had an amazing statistical season, he still is someone that opposing offenses have to gameplan for.
Silver Lining
If Gary doesn’t go on Sunday, the silver lining is that it will give some of the younger players an opportunity to show what they can do. Kingsley Enagbare would likely get the start and first-round pick Lukas Van Ness would also see a larger role. For a young team, reps are the biggest advantage. Both of those players have been quiet in 2023 and maybe an opportunity is all they need to show what they can do.
The Green Bay Packers are hopeful that Rashan Gary can go. While they would love to give their young players an opportunity, Gary is one of the better defensive players in the league and would be a massive loss for a team looking to pick up a win.
