2 Green Bay Packers In The Pro Bowl Hunt After First Round Of Voting

The Green Bay Packers have had an up-and-down season but have had some great individual performances. As the season begins to wind down, Pro Bowl voting has begun. The NFL released the results from the first round of voting and two Green Bay Packers, Rashan Gary, and Keisean Nixon, were in the top ten at their positions.

Only two Packers rank in the top 10 at their respective positions in the first installment of Pro Bowl voting.

2 Green Bay Packers In Pro Bowl Conversation

Gary is number eight in the outside linebacker right behind Bradley Chubb. The newly extended outside linebacker has had some big sack games against the Saints and Lions. He continues to be one of the best young edge rushers in the game. Nixon is second in the return specialist category right behind Rashid Shaheed of the Saints. Nixon hasn’t taken one to the house yet but has had some big returns to set Jordan Love and the offense up with good field position. These two players feel like the ones that would get recognized. Injuries probably have prevented more.

    Injured Stars

Aaron Jones would likely be having a huge season but injuries have kept him out of a lot of games. Jaire Alexander is in the same boat. One thing that is great about this team is that every win feels like a team effort. Jayden Reed is the leading receiver on the team in yards but Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks have all made big plays as well. Every victory feels like a complete team effort which should excite fans moving forward.

Will any other Green Bay Packers make it into the Pro Bowl conversation? Voting continues but some players are going to have to have a historical stretch of games to crack the top ten in their position.
