Green Bay Packers fans had a better glimpse of Jordan Love’s progress this offseason as beat reporters were present at the team’s second full practice of the offseason. They reacted on Twitter to frustrating reports their fourth-year quarterback needs some fine-tuning yet this offseason.

According to Rob Demovsky with ESPN, Love had a slow start at practice. He was efficient near the goal line but wasn’t accurate for most of the day. Love went just 6-16 in passing attempts, with defenders getting their paws on the ball on several throws.
After a slow start, Jordan Love was effective in the short red zone (from the 10 and in) with 3 TDs. Overall in the first open OTA (and second of the week), he was 6-for-16. Had three tipped or batted down, one dropped and one nearly picked off.
We’ll hear from him soon.

A slow start is to be expected at this point in the offseason. It will take Love and the offense some time to get used to running their scheme in coordinator with one another. These OTA insights are fun, but we’ll know where Love will be this season nearer to the middle of training camp in August.
According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, head coach, Matt LaFleur didn’t seem too concerned with Love’s practice.
“I think there’s a lot of good things and a lot to certainly clean up,” LaFleur said.

Green Bay Packers fans react to Jordan Love’s struggles
Packers fans reacted to Love’s slow start on social media shortly after Demovsky gave his report. Here are the best takes of Love going through it Tuesday.
Batted passes are on the OLine, droped pass on the receiver. 6-12 with 3 TDs and one near pick is still not great but it gives a much better perspective of the real Love performance

I’m sure he’s just trying to help the defense build confidence, Rob. pic.twitter.com/n8GRS3UPwl

Demovsky has always been doom and gloom, he’d rather report drama than facts. It’s why other Packer’s outlets around the state exist and have more local readership than ESPN.
