Bonds was brought in to try out for the Washington Commanders’ rookie camp. According to Steven J Gaither with HBCU Game Day, Bonds made some impressive plays at the camp:
“Leading the way was Hampton University wide receiver Jadakis Bonds. One of the top receivers in the FCS over the past couple of seasons, Bonds showed up at Washington Commanders camp and turned heads. He made several tough grabs and that showed why he caught 180 passes and 34 touchdowns in 40 games at Hampton.”
According to his bio at Hampton, Bonds earned the school record for touchdowns in a single season with 15 in 2019.

In reviewing a few clips of Bonds, he seems to do an excellent job at getting separation at the second level.
