The Green Bay Packers made one thing clear today: they are serious about a playoff run. The team is coming off three consecutive, and very impressive might I add, wins. After starting 3-6, the Packers have stormed back to .500 and currently hold the seventh and final playoff spot in the NFC.
Today, the Packers brought in a veteran running back who could make a real impact on their offense.

The 29-year-old Kenyan Drake has been in the NFL since 2016. His NFL career includes stints with the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens. He has played with several teams this year, including the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens (again), and Cleveland Browns. The Ravens have used him just twice, with two receptions for 31 yards and just one carry for no yards.

Drake, 29, brings experience to a running back room that has lost it’s key piece. He has more than 3,800 rushing yards and 1,600 receiving yards. If the Packers are able to utilize him in the passing game, they might just have added a layer to their offense that has been missing since Jones went down with an injury.
