The Green Bay Packers have spent the 2024 off-season getting younger while remaining one of the most competitive teams in the NFC. The offense has undergone relatively minor changes. Yes moving on from Aaron Jones in favor of Josh Jacobs was significant, however, the Packers having a competent rushing attack should remain the same.
Moving on from David Bakhtiari was also a huge move, but once again, his departure won’t be much of a change from last season. The defense is where we have seen numerous changes. That continued today.
The Green Bay Packers Added Another Piece To Their Defense
As previously reported by Wisconsin Sports Heroics:
According to his Instagram account, the Green Bay Packers have signed cornerback Gemon Green. Last year, Green spent time with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent from the 2023 draft class.
During his four seasons at Michigan, Green played 42 games (24 starts). One interception and 15 pass breakups were among his accomplishments. Honorable mention All-Big Ten honors were awarded to him in 2022, his final year.
Packers Fans Reacted In A Big Way To Gemon Green’s Addition
Packers newest signing: Gemon Green was the most experienced corner on the team seeing 24 starts in 42 career games in the maize and blue. Green has great size for the position and has knowledge in man-to-man, Cover 3, and Cover 6 zone packages. https://t.co/TQTHYpgFDn

Zero snaps in the NFL but Given Brian Gutekunst’s impressive history of talent development, it’s highly probable he will mold Gemon Green into a success story reminiscent of Rasul Douglas. 🔥🤞 https://t.co/lKZpXv2ruH pic.twitter.com/FwS3ZCqCUu
