The Green Bay Packers have rumored to be in the trade market prior to the 2023 deadline. Specifically, the Packers have been rumored to be interested in adding a proven wide receiver to this young offense.
Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Luke Musgrave figure to be the core offense going forward (depending on what happens at the running back position over the next few years). That is a very talented, but young, core. Adding another weapon to the mix would be huge, and now, there has been a significant development in that possibility.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler Announces That The Green Bay Packers Are Officially Monitoring The Wide Receiver Market Prior To The Trade Deadline

As the old saying goes, the Packers will always be in the conversation. Once again, that’s the case near this year’s trade deadline. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports the Packers are looking at possible pass-catchers who are available over the next 10 days:
“Wide receiver is a buzz-worthy position entering the deadline. People I’ve talked to believe the Colts, Packers, Panthers and Chiefs have at least monitored the receiver market in recent weeks, though Carolina, sitting at 0-6, might be out, and the Chiefs got their man in Hardman.”
With two straight losses, the Packers are 2-3 after their bye week. Adding a receiver via trade may seem unlikely given the amount of draft capital invested at the position over the last two years:
- Christian Watson: Second-Round Pick
- Romeo Doubs: Fourth-Round Pick
- Samori Toure: Seventh-Round Pick
- Jayden Reed: Second-Round Pick
- Dontayvion Wicks: Fifth-Round Pick
- Grant DuBose: Seventh-Round Pick
However, adding someone that would immediately make the offense better and help the development of Jordan Love may be too good to pass up.

should get an offense coordinater and defense coach vrteran tight end and a good wide reciever if that does not work bring in new head coach thats more agressive and posative thinking then the players would feed off that and be likewise!!
