The Green Bay Packers showed the NFL that they won’t be entering a “rebuild mode” after the franchise-altering Aaron Rodgers trade. Instead, they wound up being one of the final four NFC teams left standing in the 2023-24 playoffs.
The 2024 off-season will consist of fine tuning their roster in an attempt to take them from playoff caliber to championship caliber. As it turns out, one Tampa Bay Buccaneers star could directly help with that.

There’s a chance we could see the Green Bay Packers move on from De’Vondre Campbell in a salary cap move this offseason. Of course, they’ve got his contract already budgeted for the next couple of years, and moving on from him would leave a hole at the off-ball linebacker position next to Quay Walker.
This year’s free agent group at linebacker includes a number of absolute studs and former high draft selections, which could create a buyer’s market at the position. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Packers eat the dead money on Campbell’s deal and go after someone else.
Devin White is a former top-five pick who could be available for less than $10 million annually in the right situation.
Devin White Would Be Huge For The Packers Defense
While White’s second-level range could help him make plays in both the run and pass games, he could also be used as a blitzer in the Packers’ loaded front. During his five seasons with Tampa Bay, he has recorded 23 career sacks, and new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley could maximize his abilities.
Through five seasons in Tampa Bay, White has amassed some impressive stats. During that time, the LSU product has 566 total tackles, 40 tackles for loss, and 23 sacks. In 2020, he was a second-team All-Pro selection, and in 2021, he was a Pro Bowler.
The 26-year-old linebacker could pair up with Quay Walker for years to come in the middle of the Packers’ defense.
