The Green Bay Packers will have a shot at clinching a playoff spot this Sunday when they take on the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, but could be short staffed at wide receiver heading into the regular season finale.
WR Christian Watson is Listed as Questionable for Sunday’s Game vs. the Chicago Bears
Christian Watson, who has been ruled out ever since re-aggravating his hamstring injury in week 13 versus the Kansas City Chiefs, is listed as questionable for the regular season finale versus Chicago. Watson practiced in a limited fashion for Wednesday and Thursday’s practices, but wasn’t seen on the field Friday, which calls for concern considering he was trending upwards.
Watson was just finding his chemistry with Jordan Love before going down with the injury. Watson has caught 12 balls on 16 targets for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns in his last two starts. If Watson can manage to suit up for the regular season finale, it would give an extra boost to the offense for a must win game to ensure a playoff spot.
Rookie WRs Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks Listed as Questionable for Green Bay Packers
While Watson was not on the field, rookies Jayden Reed and Dotayvion Wicks were both seen getting work in for Friday’s practice. Reed was taken out of last week’s game versus the Minnesota Vikings due to a chest injury he re-aggravated. Before being taken out, Reed hauled in 6 catches for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns. Reed practiced in limited participation all week and is trending towards suiting up for Sunday’s contest versus Chicago.

Dontayvion Wicks also practiced all week after not suiting up for Sunday night’s divisional matchup versus Minnesota. If Watson, Reed or Wicks are ruled out for Sunday, expect Romeo Doubs and rookie Bo Melton to be afforded extra snaps in their absence.
Coverage for Sunday’s regular season finale will begin at 4:25 PM Eastern time on CBS. Green Bay will need a win in order to confirm their ticket into the playoffs. A loss would put their fate in the hands of multiple teams.
