Aaron Rodgers couldn’t be any prouder of Jordan Love after the young quarterback led the Green Bay Packers to a Week 18 win over the Chicago Bears and into the playoffs.
When the Packers needed him the most, Love stepped up big time and ensured that Green Bay won’t have a repeat of what happened last year when they failed to make the postseason in the last game of the year. This time, Love really put his best foot forward and didn’t allow the Packers to be denied.

Against the Bears, Love played with insane efficiency and completed 27 of his 32 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Chicago just couldn’t find an answer to slow him down, with Green Bay handing them another loss in the Matt LaFleur era.
In his recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers talked about Love’s performance in the 19-7 win and even fired back at the critics who were hating on the young QB and the team early in the season. The former Packers QB expressed how happy he is to see the 25-year-old succeed and lead the franchise to the playoffs.
“I’m proud of him. He’s a great kid, and he’s had a nice season. A lot of people were piling on him at 6-8, weren’t they?” Rodgers shared.
“That was a pretty masterclass performance by Jordan. … He played great. Took care of the football, made a lot of plays, and now they’re in the playoffs. There are some great storylines in the playoffs, aren’t there?”

Jordan Love definitely deserves all the praise he’s getting. He had huge shoes to fill after taking over as QB1 from Aaron Rodgers, and despite a slow start, he was able to eventually find his rhythm and rally the team to wins.
It was a truly historic year for Love, and he couldn’t have capped off the season in a better way than a “masterclass” display against the Bears.

Jordan Love Makes Plenty of History With Green Bay Packers
While the Green Bay Packers still have the playoffs to play, there is no denying that Jordan Love has already made the season a memorable one.
Love secured plenty of incredible records, which should make Packers fans believe that there are more success in their future with the youngster leading the way.
As USA Today noted, Love led the NFL for the most games with multiple touchdown passes and zero interception with nine. He is also tied with Brock Purdy for games with at least three touchdowns and zero interceptions with five.
The Packers rising star is also tied for the lead for most games with a passer rating of at least 100.0, and he’s second in the league for touchdown passes and fourth in total touchdowns.
With that kind of performance in his first year as a starter, only big things await for Love as he acquires more experience.
