Patrick Beverley has always been known as an instigator on and off the court. But after being involved in a pair of controversies just recently, former NBA star Jeff Teague sounded off on the Milwaukee Bucks guard in his own podcast,
Thanks to injuries bringing down the duo of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks found themselves going home at the hands of the Indiana Pacers in the first round. In that pivotal Game 6, Milwaukee was thoroughly dismantled by the Tyrese Haliburton-led team as they went home with the 120-98 win and the right to advance to the next round.

Before the game ended, though, the feisty Bucks guard found himself arguing with a fan in the stands. Beverley then threw the ball at him in frustration with around two and a half minutes remaining in the contest. He was then held back by his teammates from further engaging the fans in Indiana.
After the game, the Milwaukee star was interviewed by several reporters in a postgame scrum. Beverley asked ESPN producer Malinda Adams if she has subscribed to his podcast and learned that she wasn’t. He then refused to answer her questions and asked Adams to leave.
Former NBA Star Jeff Teague Blasts Milwaukee Bucks Star Patrick Beverley After Back-To-Back Controversies

After the game, Beverley was blasted on social media for his antics. Jeff Teague, a former guard who played with the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks, blasted him in an episode of Club 520 on YouTube:
At this point in time, Beverley has already issued an apology using his official account on X. Even if that’s the case, the Bucks guard has received a lot of flak for his actions during the two incidents. For her part, Malinda said Beverley and the Bucks have reached out to her to apologize.

Beverley is currently a free agent heading into the offseason. It’s not yet known whether Milwaukee will sign him again or not. Nevertheless, these incidents will play a huge part in that decision.
