Aaron Jones will officially be staying with the Green Bay Packers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported early this morning that the Packers and Jones’ agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha, agreed to an $11 million salary for 2023, including a $8.25 million signing bonus.

Jones is coming off of a 2022 season that saw him play in all 17 games while rushing for a career-high 1,121 yards. He had two rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns on the year.
Jones was due to have a salary cap hit of over $20 million in 2023. That will no longer be the case as Jones’ new salary is a substantial pay cut. He wanted to stay with the Packers.
