Giannis Antetokounmpo has been taking the league by storm for the last couple of years. His complete dominance on both ends of the floor has made him a perennial MVP candidate. If he continues to play at this high level, he will go down as one of the best ever to play the game. Giannis is on track to pass a career milestone in the next couple of weeks that will help cement his legacy.
Fun Fact: Giannis Antetokounmpo is only 147 points away from 15,000 in his career. If he continues at his current pace of 31.5 PPG, he should get there in about 4-5 games. 4 games from now is the Kings at home on 12/7 and 5 games is at the Mavs on 12/9 on ESPN. pic.twitter.com/bK13G9WjYl

Giannis Approaching Career Points Milestone
As of the writing of this article, Giannis is 147 points away from breaking 15,000 career points. If he continues at the pace he has set so far this season, he should surpass 15,000 sometime in the next two weeks. The games to watch would be 12/7 against the Kings and 12/9 against the Mavs. The Mavs game is being televised on ESPN so they would love it if Giannis passed that milestone on a national broadcast. No matter when he passes the milestone, it will continue to vault him up the scoring list.
The All-Time Scoring List
Currently, Giannis sits at 149th on the all-time NBA scoring list. However, he will climb quickly if he stays on this scoring pace. Hitting 15,000 will push him up four spots and by the season’s end, he could be approaching the top 100. He still has a ways to go to get to the top of the list but the fact that he is going to break 15,000 at just 27 years old means he has plenty of time. Only seven players have ever eclipsed 30,000 points and Giannis looks well on his way to joining that list.
If Giannis plays for another 10 years, he is going to go down as one of the greats. He is the type of player that we will be talking to the younger generations about what it was like to watch him. We are officially on 15,000 watch for Giannis.
