The Milwaukee Bucks are 14-5, in second place in the Eastern Conference, and have won three of their last four games. A major factor in their recent run of success has been the play of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The rest of the NBA has noticed this as well, and Giannis has been awarded the Eastern Conference Player of the Week Award. Phoenix Suns star DeAndre Ayton won the award in the Western Conference.

Giannis Had an Amazing Week for the Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks entered this week on a bit of a skid. They had lost three of five games before taking on the Portland Trailblazers last week Monday. Giannis led the Bucks to a 119-111 victory with a stat line of 37 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals.

Unfortunately, the Bucks would go on to drop their next game, a home matchup against the Chicago Bulls. Milwaukee could not pull away enough in the first half and led just by one at the break. The Bulls used a dominant third quarter to escape with a 118-113 victory. For his part, Giannis had 36 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.

On Friday, the Bucks returned to their winning ways with a come-from-behind win at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Giannis, of course, led the way with 38 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks. At one point, the Bucks were down by as many as 17 points. However, they stormed back in the second half to blow out the Cavs.

Finally, the Bucks took on former head coach Jason Kidd and the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. In this high-scoring affair, Milwaukee was able to out-shoot the Mavs on their way to their third- highest point total of the season. Giannis had 30 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists in just 29 minutes of play.
