Aaron Rodgers made some controversial comments today on The Pat McAfee Show. The comments were regarding his Green Bay Packers teammates, specifically how they’ve been performing. His remarks, during which he threw his teammates under the bus amid the Packers’ struggles, didn’t sit well with one legendary Green Bay wideout. Greg Jennings didn’t take kindly to Rodgers’ comments about his teammates, calling out the Packers QB over his remarks. For the first time in quite some time, many Packers fans agreed with Jennings more than they did Aaron Rodgers.
Greg Jennings Rips Aaron Rodgers For His Comments:
Former Packers WR Greg Jennings on Aaron Rodgers' comments today on McAfee:
"You can't do this … You can't sit down on a show and start talking about who should and shouldn't be playing because of mental errors."

Obviously putting any Ex-Packer who is a criminal aside, Greg Jennings has been labeled one of the worst Ex-Packers of all time. Jennings was a Wide Receiver in Green Bay from 2006-2012. He played an instrumental role in the Packers’ championship run in 2010. All of that being said, what Greg Jennings has done since he left has typically turned Packers Nation completely against him. Jennings was quoted saying this back in February:
"Aaron Rodgers has been a very selfish guy. … I go back to personal experiences. His words to me were, 'don't be that guy.' All of a sudden, it's about the money."

Jennings, at the time, received harsh criticism for these comments. Even in an article, I wrote. However this time it is hard to disagree with the former Packers wide receiver. The Packers are 3-4 and have lost each of their last three games. They have struggled mightily to get going on offense. Aaron Rodgers, the reigning MVP, has not lived up to expectations thus far. However, not being willing to accept responsibility for his own shortcomings this year didn’t sit well with Jennings. “Packers Twitter” is also largely in agreement with Greg Jennings’ most recent comments. Here are a few examples:
Aaron Rodgers has me agreeing with Greg Jennings if you know how bad it has gotten as a Packers fan https://t.co/xTWnlbR31F

This has gone so far that I agree with Greg Jennings. What kind of upside-down are we living in??? https://t.co/see4m2XS6f pic.twitter.com/GBVstM29hJ

I can’t believe I’m saying this … I … I agree with Greg Jennings https://t.co/GDf3nfOntn

It seems that there is a serious problem in Green Bay right now. If the Packers want to salvage Aaron Rodgers’ possible last season in Green Bay, the turnaround needs to start. Now.

Greg Jenningsis the thirstiest mother F’er on the planet.
I realize that you don’t coach by listening to fans. But, your opponents don’t gain points and win without the defense falling short. Lead in the first half’s and games lost in the second, one has to ask why? It is a consistent failing. I do believe that the offense is beyond lack luster. But, both sides of the ball share in those loses.
Craig still looking for relevance. 🤣
