Aaron Rodgers wore a spicy T-Shirt to a Packers practice
Aaron Rodgers has been busy going for headlines ahead of the Green Bay Packers Week One Matchup against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. On Wednesday, Rodgers took a shot at the Packers’ divisional rivals. Earlier in the week, Rodgers wore some clothes to practice that got the attention of NFL fans.
Rodgers is heading into the 2022 NFL season trying to earn a three-peat MVP title. The Packers have had three 13-win seasons in a row but have fallen short in the playoffs. The team is a favorite to make the Super Bowl this year. One would think Rodgers would be focusing on football ahead of the season. But Rodgers is staying loose before Week One.
Matt Schneidman, who covers the Packers for the Athletic, posted a Tweet about a fashion statement Rodgers made this week. According to Schneidman, Rodgers wore a T-shirt that said: “Rodgers/Lazard ’23 MAKE GREEN BAY GREAT AGAIN”.
No still photography allowed in the locker room and he didn’t talk today, but Aaron Rodgers is wearing a “Rodgers/Lazard ‘23 MAKE GREEN BAY GREAT AGAIN” T-shirt.

The shirt is an obvious nod to President Donald Trump’s red hat that says “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”, which was used early in his 2016 presidential campaign. One would assume Rodgers wore this as a nod to Lazard, to get him and his teammate fired up for this week’s contest. (Lazard sustained an injury late on in the week and his status for Sunday’s game is unclear.)
Not all fans thought Rodgers was funny
Because of the political implications and Twitter being…Twitter, Rodgers T-shirt got a lot of reaction. Some disagreed with the phrasing. Others want to purchase the item, which now has a lot of different variations to buy on the internet.
Augh…..i love the sentiment but does it have to be phrased THAT way??? 🤢🤮
