The Milwaukee Bucks are currently one of the hottest teams in the NBA. They are in the midst of an 11-game winning streak. The Bucks are coming off defeating a short-handed Boston Celtics team 131-125 in overtime. Tonight the Bucks take on the Chicago Bulls, however, beforehand, the Bucks received some unexpected and concerning injury news regarding Khris Middleton.
Khris Middleton Unexpectedly Ruled Out Vs Chicago Bulls

On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will be in Illinois to face off with the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Khris Middleton has been ruled out. Per Eric Nehm of The Athletic this is what head coach Mike Budenholzer had to say regarding MIddleon:
Question: With Khris out tonight, did he have a setback or an incident in your last game?
Answer: No, I think we’ve been talking about it each time I get asked, (we) just see how he responds, see how he feels the next day. He’s not able to go tonight, so I think we’re overall not concerned, but we’ll see how he does over the break. We’ll just continue to work with him, make sure he’s in a good place when he plays.
Question: As you guys keep progressing and give him more and more minutes, was this expected along the way? That he might get pushed a little bit too far and he needs a day of? Or did this come out of the blue?
Answer: No. I wouldn’t say this was expected. This was not planned for. This was not – so, we just have to take it day-by-day and in some ways. that’s how all the guys are. Just gotta check in with them and see how they’re doing. So, again, I hope it’s not anything to be concerned about or worried about, but just keep him good and healthy and see how he feels coming out of the break.
Middleton has been dealing with injuries to start the season, however, has been a vital contributor during the Bucks’ current 11-game win streak. This latest injury news is concerning as it was not expected. Hopefully Middleton can come out of the All-Star break healthy and ready to go for the second half of the season and a playoff push.
