Wisconsin senior quarterback Jack Coan has entered the transfer portal. His career in a Badger uniform is over. This is according to 247 Sports Wisconsin Insider Evan Flood.
Being told that #Badgers quarterback Jack Coan has entered the transfer portal.

Coan was expected to be the starting quarterback for the Badgers this season. As a junior, he led the Badgers to the Big Ten West division title, a spot in the Big Ten Championship, and a berth to the Rose Bowl. Coan completed 69% of his passes last season for 18 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
Coan broke his foot in fall camp this year, turning the reigns to freshman phenom Graham Mertz. While Coan was suited up for the last few games, it was Mertz who continued to start.
While it’s unclear where Jack Coan will transfer to, he will be missed in Madison. Whoever ends up with Jack Coan as their starting quarterback next season will get a leader on and off the field as well as a solid contributor on the field.
Thank you for the memories, Captain Jack!
