Brewers Pitcher earned a major nomination Thursday
The 2022 Milwaukee Brewers pitching staff had a lot of talent on it at the start of the season. Former Brewers pitcher Josh Hader is having an incredible postseason with the San Diego Padres. Current Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Corin Burnes had a great season. The 2021 Cy Young award winner had a 2.94 ERA in 2022.
Burns was also impressive with his fielding skills this season. According to a statement by the Milwaukee Brewers, Burnes earned his first-ever Golden Glove finalist nomination for the 2022 campaign. National League pitchers Tyler Anderson with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Max Fried with the Atlanta Braves joined Burnes as the finalists for the award.

The winner of the award will be announced later this fall. This award is given to the player deemed the best fielder for each defensive position. This would be just another prestigious award to go to the two-time all-star pitcher.
