Tuesday on WFAN in New York, Boomer Esiason and Gregg Gianotti discussed New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. They both believe it is a fresh start this season for Jones. During the offseason, the Giants paid Daniel Jones $40 million per season for the next four years.
On WFAN, Boomer said that he believes the Green Bay Packers’ rival Minnesota Vikings got him paid more on the market this offseason. During the playoff game last season against Minnesota, Daniel Jones threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 78 yards. That was the best he has looked throughout his NFL career.
Boomer Esiason Believes Packers’ Rival Got Daniel Jones Paid
Boomer Esiason said about him,
“He proved that maybe against a poor defense like Minnesota, say whatcha wanna say but that game probably got him an extra $10 million dollars a year by beating them on the road in Minnesota.”

Daniel Jones Will Want To Prove He Is Worth the $40 Million

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones wants to prove he is worth $40 million per season this year. He didn’t have many quality passing games a season ago, but Jones massively cut down on the turnovers.
The improvement he needs to make this season is to throw closer to 4,000 yards and throw for 25-30 touchdowns. The Giants have more targets for Daniel Jones this season than they did over the past few seasons. Some names to watch for this season are Saquon Barkley, Darren Waller, Isaiah Hodgins, Jalin Hyatt, and Parris Campbell.
Daniel Jones doesn’t want to be known as the payer who was paid only because the Minnesota Vikings’ defense was terrible in the playoffs a season ago.
