The Milwaukee Brewers have placed starting pitcher Jakob Junis on the 15-day injured list.  Team officials indicate that this was done out of precaution.  However his next turn in the rotation is projected for Monday, April 8 and they will need to fill that void with someone else. The Milwaukee Brewers made a successful waiver claim on Friday, April 5 as they acquired Vladimir Gutierrez.  He is a pitcher that they are familiar with due to his history with the Cincinnati Reds.  Upon being claimed he was optioned to Triple-A Nashville.
