Just like that, two of the top three teams in Division 1 were no longer undefeated. October 7th It was the night of October 7th that saw Kettle Moraine (6-2 in Division 2) take down Mukwonago, 28-7. Kettle Moraine…

For the second straight season, anyone can win the Big East. Last year featured an epic three-way tie with Cedar Grove Belgium, Hilbert, and Reedsville all sitting at 6-1. The season ended just fine for Reedsville as they were the Division 7 state champions, but the chaos in this conference continues to shine bright. Currently, Cedar Grove Belgium is the only undefeated team in the Big East conference. CGB lost both of their non-conference games, but they turned it around by defeating Howards Grove in a shootout, smashing the division 7 state champions by 36, putting up 63 against Manitowoc…

In what might have been the best high school football game of the year, Mukwonago defeated Arrowhead 31-30. This game was back and forth, continually tied, but most importantly, came down to the wire. Arrowhead decided to take a risk that didn’t pay off, but it’s a risk Matt Harris would probably take again if the opportunity presented itself. The first few drives were a feeling out process. Arrowhead was the first team on the board, scoring a 39-yard passing touchdown with under two minutes remaining. Vance Holtz was locked in early, this being his first of two touchdown passes.…

After going undefeated and winning the Eastern Wisconsin Conference last season, no one had a 0-4 start for Brillion on their bingo card. The Lions are struggling, to say the least. Even though Brillion lost their first game last season, they would go on to win their next nine. The scary part? When Brillion was winning, it was very similar to what Two Rivers is doing this season. Last year, five of the Lions first six wins were blowouts where they didn’t allow a single point. Fast forward to this season and Two Rivers has yet to allow a point.…

Two undefeated teams, one sold out high school football field, 75 degree weather, just a little six mph breeze of wind, it doesn’t get much better than this. Friday Night Lights was in full affect at Bay Port high school when the undefeated Pirates hosted the also undefeated Pulaski Red Raiders. Pulaski won the coin toss and decided to defer. Bay Port’s opening drive began at their own 20. Quarterback Cole Benson set the tone, keeping the ball himself on the first three plays. The Pirates first five offensive plays were on the ground. Benson threw a little two yard pass…
