Hello! My name is Jordon Lawrenz, and I’m a 20-year-old sports broadcaster. I'm in my third and final year at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. I already obtained my associates degree, so now I'm working on my bachelors as a communication major with a sports communication and journalism emphasis.
“I still own you!” is the Aaron Rodgers quote that not only took the Packer faithful by storm, but the entire NFL caught on. Aaron Rodgers has been nearly perfect against the Bears in his career, and more of the same happened in this game. While the Bears scored early, the Packers mostly dominated from the 2nd quarter until the final whistle. A few notable performances in terms of fantasy points, so let’s get right to them! NOTE: The scoring is based off of PPR through NFL Fantasy. Please keep that in mind as the numbers may be slightly different…
What can I really say that hasn’t already been said about this game? An absolutely wild ride, but ultimately the Packers found a way to win. Rodgers delivered after a slow start, Adams put up insane numbers, and Crosby took us on the most dangerous roller coaster of all time. Incase you missed last week’s recap, you can check that out here. The Packers are now 4-1, so no complaints from me! Time to take a look at this week’s fantasy numbers. NOTE: The scoring is based off of PPR through NFL Fantasy. Please keep that in mind as the…
Can you believe we are four weeks into the season already? If it wasn’t for the additional game, we would already be a quarter of a way through the season. It’s crazy! The Packers have certainly rebounded since the horrendous Week 1, so let’s take a look at this weeks fantasy performances! NOTE: The scoring is based off of PPR through NFL Fantasy. Please keep that in mind as the numbers may be slightly different from a Fantasy league you may be in! Aaron Rodgers: 24.12 Points Aaron Rodgers had a rushing touchdown! I was beyond pleased to see Rodgers…
News broke earlier today that Devin Williams is likely out for the remainder of the season. As expected, Milwaukee Brewers fans were devastated. A pitcher of his caliber is hard to replace and it may end up costing the team a trip to the World Series. This past Sunday, the Brewers celebrated winning he 2021 NL Central Division Title. In Williams case, he unfortunately punched a wall at some point in the night. What is worse than punching a wall? Punching a wall with YOUR PITCHING HAND that results in a likely season ending injury and surgery to fix it.…
In a game that the Packers once led 17-0, Trey Lance took over to give the 49ers their first points of the half. The scoring didn’t end there, as the Packers allowed for the 49ers to come back within striking distance, ultimately taking the lead with just over 30 seconds left. No timeouts on the clock, Aaron Rodgers worked his magic. A record breaking 66 yard game winning field goal took place earlier in the day by Justin Tucker, but Mason Crosby is the one who ended Sunday with a bang. Let’s take a look at how everyone did in…
Week two of the Green Bay Packers season is in the books, and it was a MUCH better showing! There are still quite a few things that need work, and it was a slow start for the Pack. However, they turned things around and it ended in a 35-17 win over the Detroit Lions. In week one I recapped how the Packers players did in terms of Fantasy points, and this is something I plan on doing all season long. Let’s take a look at the numbers behind Aaron Jones’s HUGE week! NOTE: The scoring is based off of PPR…
Boy oh boy, this is an article that I dreaded writing. When I joined the team here at Wisconsin Sports Heroics, I knew that I wanted to incorporate fantasy football into my articles. Seeing as the Green Bay Packers are a major focal point on this website, it is only fitting that after every Packer game, I look at the fantasy numbers for each major player! We all know the result of this weeks game, as the Packers got embarrassed by the Saints. That said, let’s see just how poorly ten players did! NOTE: The scoring is based off of…
With the National Football League preparing for a normal season, it is very important for Packers fans to be as prepared as possible. The Brewers were just crowned the best fans in baseball, the Bucks just won the NBA Championship, so the Packers have to live up to that hype as well! How can they do so? By buying Packers merchandise, of course! The Packers Pro Shop is one of the most convenient places to get your Packer apparel. For those who do not live near the actual Pro Shop, the online store has everything one can think of. This…
It’s no secret that Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League. This has been proven time and time again. Most notably with his third MVP award this past season. Everyone knows what the COVID-19 Pandemic did to the previous NFL season. However, Aaron Rodgers didn’t let that phase him, putting out maybe the best season of his career. 2020 was the third time Rodgers has been the league’s Most Valuable Player. The others came in 2011 and 2014. While it is important to note that the Packers won the Super Bowl in 2011, that…
