Allen Lazard is waiting on Aaron Rodgers to be traded
Allen Lazard signed with the New York Jets this offseason. He’s still waiting with the rest of the NFL world for Aaron Rodgers to join him in New. Lazard recently commented on the idea the Rodgers trade between his former team, the Green Bay Packers, and the Jets might not wind up going through.

The Packers and Jets are working out the terms of a package that would send Rodgers to the Jets. Reports have come out the two teams have differences in the proper compensation for the 39-year-old quarterback. The Packers have no monetary incentive to rush the trade through, as they can gain $15.8 in much-needed cap space by waiting until June to trade Rodgers. However, the cost could come to locker room morale should he be on the roster for OTAs.
TMZ recently spoke with Lazard about the veteran receiver joining the Jets. Lazard said Rodgers was a major factor in signing with the Jets. He made a strong statement about the possibility that Rodgers wouldn’t join his new team:
“There’s no worry on my end,” said the 27-year-old receiver, who inked a four-year, $44 million contract with the Jets. “Especially knowing that Aaron has his full-on commitment to being a New York Jet this year.”
Rodgers will be a Jets quarterback in 2023

The deal may as well be done. The Packers are going with Jordan Love as the starter next year. Keeping Rodgers on the roster would be a waste of value for Green Bay. The Jets have acted in free agency as if Rodgers was already traded. They’ve added multiple offensive weapons and are close to inking more help Rodgers would like, such as wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. There’s no way Rodgers won’t be in New York come September.

Allen Robinson are you completely out of your mind? I wouldn’t sign him if he played for free & we got Jamar Chase to boot! He didn’t do crap while a Chicago Bear what are you talking about! His numbers might equal the Packers 4th or 5th string receiver. Don’t waste time or money on him. Hopkins on the other hand would be awesome, especially if he can stay healthy.
