Is this it for Aaron Rodgers? He had an interesting comment following Sunday’s loss
Sunday night’s loss to the Detroit Lions took the Green Bay Packers out of the playoffs. It also may have ended Aaron Rodgers’ career with the team.
If that was Rodgers’ last home game as a member of the Packers, his last throw was an interception to Kerby Joseph that allowed the Lions to run out the clock. It left a bad taste in Rodgers’ mouth as Green Bay failed to run the table.
After the game, Rodgers didn’t reveal if he was staying or leaving. However, he did answer a question about what he would miss about the team or game if he did retire:
If this is it, what are you going to miss?

Last year, the Packers season ended in a disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs at home. After the game, it was much of the same for Rodgers.
He took time to think, let the franchise take its time and then made the decision to return for another season on a massive contract. The plan remains the same this year in terms of taking his time before making a decision on his future.
But for some reason, this feels different right now. And it certainly feels like it really could be the end of an era.
Let the speculation begin.
