Aaron Rodgers threw an interception on Sunday night and history was made
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has rarely made mistakes in his legendary career. But on Sunday night with the playoffs on the line, Rodgers made a crucial mistake that may have cost his team a shot at playing in the postseason.
During Sunday’s game against Detroit, Rodgers threw a late interception with Green Bay down 20-16. The interception gave the ball back to Detroit as they ran out the clock and sealed the Packers fate.
And frankly, it was a bad throw.
On the pick, safety Kerby Joseph made some history as well as he joined Brian Urlacher as the only players to intercept Aaron Rodgers three times in his career.

Now that’s pretty damn impressive.
Aaron Rodgers has only thrown 105 interceptions in his career, so to see that only two players have more than 2 on him is a wild stat. It also shows just how good Rodgers has been in his long career with Green Bay.
While Joseph has the three interceptions, he almost had four as an earlier one was taken off the board due to an illegal hands-to-the-face call.
Joseph is an emerging rookie on what is a really good Lions defense they are building. He hopes to be a key piece for the long term, just like Urlacher was in Chicago. And he’s off to a heck of a start making plays like this early on in his career.
